How to Reset Your Account Data

FX Replay Help CenterUpdated October 29, 2026

Reset my account erases all your account data so you can start over on the same account, with the same login, email and subscription.

Reset my account erases all your account data so you can start over on the same account. You keep your login, email and subscription. A reset happens straight away and can't be undone.

Before you start

  • A reset isn't the same as deleting your account. Deleting is a GDPR deletion: it permanently removes the account itself, including your login and profile, 72 hours after you confirm. See How to Delete Your Account.
  • A reset isn't the same as cancelling either, and it doesn't change your subscription. If you want your plan not to renew at your next billing date, see How to Cancel Your Subscription.
  • To remove only some of your backtesting, delete those sessions instead. See What Is the Backtesting Journal?

How to reset your account

  1. Open Account Settings and go to the Account tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Reset my account.
  3. Choose whether to keep your published indicators available to other traders, without your name. If you don't tick this, they're erased with the rest of your data.
  4. Type RESET and click Reset my account to confirm.

If you haven't logged in recently, you may be asked to log in again before you can confirm.

A reset can't be undone. It runs as soon as you confirm. There's no waiting period to cancel it and no confirmation email.

What a reset erases

  • Your backtesting sessions, with their notes and trades
  • Your journal: trading accounts, trades, review notes, comments and shares
  • Trade attachments, tags, trade notes and order presets
  • Your charts and drawings
  • Your indicators and indicator comments, including published indicators unless you chose to keep them
  • Your strategies with their notes and trades, and your Marketplace publications, reviews and imports
  • Your analytics: time invested, streak, commitments and your public Performance Dashboard link
  • Your notifications
  • Your Battles profile, stats, rating, borders, match history, friends, requests and chats

Live broker connections are disconnected. You can connect them again after the reset.

What you keep

  • Your login and email
  • Your subscription and plan. Your billing doesn't change.
  • Blocks, and conversations with blocked users, stay in place.

After the reset, your account looks like a new FX Replay account.
