I am unable to save notes in the journal
Likely diagnoses: Browser Cache or Extension Conflict
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies. Disable ad blockers or privacy extensions
temporarily — this may block journal saving scripts.
For Web Browsers
Google Chrome

Click the three-dot menu (top-right).

Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data.

Select Time range (choose "All time" for a full clean).

Check Cached images and files (and other items if desired).

Click Clear data.
Mozilla Firefox

Click the menu button (☰) and choose Settings.

Go to Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.

Click Clear Data....
-
Check Cached Web Content.

Click Clear.
Safari (macOS)

Go to Safari > Settings > Advanced tab.

Enable Show Develop menu in menu bar.

In the top menu, click Develop > Empty Caches.
Microsoft Edge

Click the three-dot menu > Settings.

Go to Privacy, search, and services.

Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.

Select Cached images and files.

Click Clear now.
🧩 Disabling Privacy Extensions by Browser
Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based)

Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

Select Extensions > Manage Extensions.

Find the privacy extension you want to disable (e.g., uBlock Origin, DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials).

Toggle the switch off or click Remove to uninstall it.
Quick Tip: You can also click the puzzle piece icon in the toolbar to access and toggle extensions quickly.
Mozilla Firefox

Click the three-line menu (☰) > Add-ons and themes > Extensions.

Locate the extension (e.g., Privacy Badger).

Click the ellipsis (⋯) next to it.

Select Disable or Remove.
Safari (macOS)

Go to Safari > Settings > Extensions tab.

Uncheck the box next to the extension to disable it.

Or select the extension and click Uninstall.
