I am unable to save notes in the journal

Likely diagnoses: Browser Cache or Extension Conflict

Clear your browser’s cache and cookies. Disable ad blockers or privacy extensions temporarily — this may block journal saving scripts.
 

For Web Browsers

Google Chrome

  1. Click the three-dot menu (top-right).

  2. Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data.

  3. Select Time range (choose "All time" for a full clean).

  4. Check Cached images and files (and other items if desired).

  5. Click Clear data.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the menu button (☰) and choose Settings.

  2. Go to Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.

  3. Click Clear Data....

  4. Check Cached Web Content.

  5. Click Clear.

Safari (macOS)

  1. Go to Safari > Settings > Advanced tab.

  2. Enable Show Develop menu in menu bar.

  3. In the top menu, click Develop > Empty Caches.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three-dot menu > Settings.

  2. Go to Privacy, search, and services.

  3. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.

  4. Select Cached images and files.

  5. Click Clear now.

 

🧩 Disabling Privacy Extensions by Browser

Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based)

  1. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Extensions > Manage Extensions.

  3. Find the privacy extension you want to disable (e.g., uBlock Origin, DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials).

  4. Toggle the switch off or click Remove to uninstall it.

Quick Tip: You can also click the puzzle piece icon in the toolbar to access and toggle extensions quickly.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the three-line menu (☰) > Add-ons and themes > Extensions.

  2. Locate the extension (e.g., Privacy Badger).

  3. Click the ellipsis (⋯) next to it.

  4. Select Disable or Remove.

Safari (macOS)

  1. Go to Safari > Settings > Extensions tab.

  2. Uncheck the box next to the extension to disable it.

  3. Or select the extension and click Uninstall.
